Mrs. Mable P. Smith, 70, of Ethel MS went to be with her Heavenly Father July 4, 2012. Visitation will be held Friday, July 06, 2012 starting at 12 noon at her residence in Ethel. Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Ethel Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, with burial following in Carson Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Ethel Baptist Church. She was a retired CNA and Personal Care Home owner. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Pearl Ballard Proctor; sisters Mildred, Lorriane, Nell, Charlie Pearl, Sara, and Mary Eloise; brothers Arnell, Johnny, Scoobie, and DeDe. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Calvin Smith of Ethel; daughters Shara (Dee) Corkern of Weir, Jill (Coleman) Sanders of Kosciusko; son Calvin “Rascal” (Teri) Smith, Jr. of Alvin, TX; sisters Bobbie Proctor of Kosciusko, Betty Larson of Canton; brother Billy Proctor of Ethel; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Rev. Doyle Mitchell will officiate the services.
